Mr. Morgan has been in Who's Who in American Law, an instructor in Business Law at Wharton County Junior College, President of several county Bar Associations, Chairman of State Bar Grievance Committee, served at request of the Governor on Texas Credit Union Board, and received an honorary PHD in Theology from Louisiana Christian University.

Locally, Mr. Morgan has served as President of over 20 different civic organizations in service to his community. Mr. Morgan now focuses on serving almost exclusively in a ministry called Pro Deo Foundation. Founded by Mr. Morgan, the ministry provides legal services to the poor (after pastoring) and mediation under Matthew 18 for conflicts in the Church body.
